From October 20, Uzbekistan Airways temporarily suspends all flights to Samarkand and back.

“In connection with the reconstruction of the Samarkand international airport from October 20 to November 20 of this year, all flights of Uzbekistan Airways from Samarkand and back will be canceled for the specified period,” the message reads.

Earlier it was reported that from October 20 to November 20 this year, the international airport “Samarkand” will temporarily suspend flights in connection with the preparation for the commissioning of a new airfield complex.

It should be recalled that the construction of a new airfield complex continues in Samarkand in preparation for the SCO summit, which will be held in 2022.
