On October 29, a meeting of the Central Election Commission will be held, at which the results of the presidential elections held on October 24 in Uzbekistan will be summed up.
According to the CEC, the meeting will begin at 12:00 at the press center of the Central Election Commission and will be broadcast online on the commission’s official Facebook page.
It should be recalled that on October 25, the Central Election Commission officially announced the preliminary results of the presidential elections.
As the CEC chairman Zayniddin Nizamkhodjayev reported, according to preliminary results, 5.5% of those who participated in the elections voted for the candidate from the “Milliy Tiklanish” Democratic Party Alisher Kadirov, 80.1% – for the candidate from the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Business People – the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, 6.6% – for the candidate from the People’s Democratic Party Maksuda Vorisova, and 3.11% – for the candidate from the “Adolat” Social Democratic Party Bakhrom Abdukhalimov.
Also, 4.11% of those who participated in the elections voted for the candidate from the Ecological Party Narzulla Oblomurodov.
