Uzbekistan to vaccinate all preschool children and first graders against influenza free of charge
All preschool children and first graders will be vaccinated against influenza free of charge, the Ministry of Preschool Education reported.
“In order to prevent influenza and respiratory diseases, 2 million doses of vaccine have been delivered to the country, and free centralized vaccination against influenza is planned for all preschool children and first graders. For this purpose, 2,753 vaccination points have been created throughout the republic,” the message says.
The vaccination process will begin soon, the ministry noted.
Based on the epidemiological situation, it is planned to vaccinate all children attending kindergartens, regardless of their form of ownership, as well as first graders of schools.
