New director of Cultural Heritage Agency appointed
Tursunali Kuziyev has been appointed acting director of the Cultural Heritage Agency under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

As the press service of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports reported, Tursunali Kuziyev graduated from the Tashkent State Institute of Art, worked as the chairman of the culture fund of the Surkhandarya region. Later, he continued his activities as the director of the Benkov Republican Art School.
Since 2017, he worked as deputy head of the scientific and educational memorial complex named after Islam Karimov.
Tursunali Kuziyev was awarded the “Dustlik” order, the honorary title “Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, as well as the “Friendship” order of the Vietnamese Socialist Republic. He was awarded a number of orders and medals from Ukraine, Russia, Japan, Iran and Egypt.
