Online rating: Uzbekistan is the country with the most polluted air
Uzbekistan took the first place in the online ranking of air pollution. India and China are next.
Our neighbors Kyrgyzstan (4th place) and Tajikistan (9th place) are also in the TOP-10.
For information, on November 4, an unusual dust storm began in some regions of Uzbekistan, in particular in the city of Tashkent.
Dust levels have risen sharply at Uzhydromet’s automatic stationary monitoring stations in Tashkent, which analyze air quality. Initially, the amount of dust was reported to be 5 times higher than the allowable norm, and then 30 times between 21:00 and 23:00.
Due to the absence of precipitation (except for the southern regions) in the territory of the republic until November 12, there is a possibility that dust in the atmosphere will remain in the coming days.
