A large part of Uzbekistan’s population says the main source of income is a monthly salary
The Central Bank conducted regular surveys to study the consumer mood of various groups of the population, Gazeta.uz reports.
According to the reviews, about 70% of the participants said that the main source of income is a monthly salary, and about 15% – income from entrepreneurial activities.
The share of respondents with incomes of up to 7 million soums was 86% of the total.
It is also noted that the official monthly salary is the main source of income in the regions. In particular, respondents from Tashkent city (68.8%), Bukhara (61%), Andijan (58.7%) and Tashkent regions (58.1%) noted high share of monthly salary as the main income.
