From January to September 2021, Uzbekistan exported $24.7 million worth of footwear products to 14 countries.

The export of footwear products dropped by $3.6 million compared to the same period last year, the State Statistics Committee said.
In the first nine months of 2021, Uzbekistan exported footwear mainly to:
- Kyrgyzstan – $13.7 million
- Kazakhstan – $5.7 million
- Tajikistan – $3.7 million
- Russia – $700 thousand
- Afghanistan – $568 thousand
Major exporter-regions of footwear to foreign countries during the reporting period:
- Andijan region – $9.6 million
- Samarkand region – $5.8 million
- Fergana region – $5.3 million
- Tashkent region – $1.5 million
