In the future, exams for obtaining a driver’s license will be held in private centers throughout the country, the Traffic Safety Directorate under the Interior Ministry reported.
It was noted that in accordance with the presidential decree “On additional measures to attract the private sector to areas regulated by the state”, entrepreneurs, who are licensed to provide non-governmental educational services for training, retraining and advanced training of drivers of motor vehicles and urban electric vehicles, were given the right to conduct theoretical and practical examinations for obtaining a driver’s license, which entitles them to drive all types of vehicles (except trolleybuses and trams).
According to the Traffic Safety Directorate, in order to ensure the implementation of the presidential decree in the near future, private examination centers set up by business entities that have the right to conduct theoretical and practical examinations to obtain a driver’s license are expected to start operating.
It is planned that the exams in these centers will be conducted entirely without the human factor, through an automated electronic system.
“In the future, exams for obtaining a driver’s license will be held gradually in private centers across the country. This means that only theoretical and practical knowledge can be used to obtain a driver’s license.
Therefore, we ask the administration of all driving schools to carefully teach their students the traffic rules and take the issue of obtaining a driver’s license seriously,” the department concluded.
