Lost driver’s license can be restored through Single Portal
In order to ensure the implementation of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of May 4, 2021, the service “Submitting an application for exams to restore a lost driver’s license” has been introduced on the single portal of interactive public services.
The convenience of this service lies in the fact that now citizens can electronically submit the relevant documents to restore the lost certificate, without visiting the registration and examination department of the Road Traffic Safety Inspectorate.
List of attached documents:
- certificate of completion of training and retraining courses for drivers;
- medical certificate form 083 (valid for no more than 3 months);
- a document confirming a permit to drive a vehicle during the last year (power of attorney to drive a vehicle, if he works as a driver, then a certificate from the place of work, registration certificate, etc.);
- a lost driver’s license (if there is a copy).
After verification of the submitted documents, the applicant will be sent a notification of visiting the registration and examination department, making the statutory fees for passing the exams and admission to theoretical and practical exams.
Users of the Single Portal can also remotely monitor the status of submitted applications on the portal website.
