A meeting of the Senate Council of the Oliy Majlis was held with the participation of Senate Speaker Tanzila Narbayeva.
The meeting decided to convene the XXII plenary session of the Senate of Oliy Majlis on December 15, 2021.
It was noted that the plenary session will be held in the form of videoconferencing. The laws “On the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2022”, “On transplantation of human organs and tissues”, “On amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the improvement of the system of work with youth”, “On amendments to Articles 245 and 2458 of the Administrative Responsibility Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan” and “On the celebration of the Day of Entrepreneur” will be considered.
In addition, reports will be heard on the execution of the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for nine months of 2021 by the Cabinet of Ministers, on the territorial development by the Tashkent city khokim, on the implementation of measures for the integrated socio-economic development of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
The report of the Committee on Women and Gender Equality of the upper house of parliament on the activities of 2020 and 2021 is also scheduled to be heard.
The Council also decided to exercise parliamentary control over the implementation of measures to accelerate the development of entrepreneurship in the Aral Sea region.
