Imports of potatoes up by about 74.2 thousand tons

According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-November 2021, Uzbekistan imported 455.8 thousand tons of potatoes from 13 foreign countries for $53.2 million.

Potato imports increased by about 74.2 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.

In the last 11 months of 2021, Uzbekistan imported potatoes mainly from:

• Kazakhstan - 150 thousand tons
• Iran - 136 thousand tons
• Pakistan - 128 thousand tons
• Kyrgyzstan - 24 thousand tons
• The Netherlands - 11 thousand tons
• Russia - 4.5 thousand tons
• France - 616 tons
