Dense fog restricts operation of two airports in Uzbekistan
On the morning of December 29, the planes could not take off and land at the airports of Namangan and Andijan due to poor visibility.

As the press service of Uzbekistan Airports reported, due to heavy fog - visibility of about 50 meters - Ural airline’s aircraft operating SVR2161 flight, traveling from Kazan, was unable to land at 08:48 in Namangan and went to the alternate airport in Tashkent.
Another flight HY9620 also failed to land in Namangan due to bad weather conditions and left for an alternate airfield in Fergana.
The situation is similar at the Andijan airport. The flight HY-622/621 of Uzbekistan Airways, traveling from Moscow, could not land at the destination airport at 10:45 and was sent to an alternate airfield in Fergana.
According to forecasts of the meteorological service, these airports will be closed due to weather conditions until approximately 14:00. All scheduled flights will be redirected to the nearest alternate airfields.
