Health Ministry updates COVID-19 stats for Dec 28

On December 28, 139 people were diagnosed with coronavirus in Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 198,626 (+139).

Reportedly, 50 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 1- in Karakalpakstan, 10 – in Andijan, 8 – in Bukhara, 5 – in Jizzakh, 2 – in Navoi, 3 – in Namangan, 9 – in Samarkand, 1 – in Syrdarya, 1 – in Surkhandarya, 6 - in Fergana, 5 – in Khorezm and 38 – in Tashkent region.

1 COVID-19 patient died yesterday, bringing the official death toll to 1,485.

As of December 28, the number of recovered stands at 195,716 (+196).
