Senior specialist of Bekabad mayor’s office detained while taking $128,000 in bribe

The official, conspiring with his relative who had been convicted several times before, gained the trust of a businessman and promised to help him in acquiring 1 hectare of a land plot in the city. He also said he would help in privatizing the building of a public kindergarten.

He was caught red-handed while taking $128,000 in bribe.

Currently, a criminal case has been filed under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, an investigation is ongoing.
