During the meeting in New York, the parties discussed Uzbekistan’s recent efforts to improve legislation on personal data processing and digital payments, which Mirziyoyeva said are opening up broader opportunities for access to international payment systems.
She said there are also many other areas where Uzbekistan could cooperate with Google.
“We have many opportunities for cooperation with the company. At the same time, we have major and important tasks ahead,” Mirziyoyeva said.
