Border free trade zones with Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to be created
In 2022, it is planned to actively promote the national interests of Uzbekistan within the framework of regional organizations.
According to project of the “Roadmap” for the implementation of the development strategy for 2022-2026 in 2022, it is planned to take measures to further intensify and expand the activities of joint commissions on economic cooperation with the countries of the region.
It is also planned to develop proposals for the creation of border free trade zones with Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
In addition, the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project will be accelerated. Cooperation in all areas of regional interdependence will be further developed.
It is also expected to actively participate in the development of important interstate and interregional projects of economic and social importance, which contribute to the well-being of the state and society, and consistently promote the interests of Uzbekistan.
Work will be carried out to increase the capacity of border checkpoints in Uzbekistan through reconstruction and expansion. The renovation work will be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the State Customs Committee and international standards.
