Uzbekistan’s crude oil production up
According to the State Statistics Committee, in 2021, Uzbekistan produced 774 thousand tons of crude oil.
Production of crude oil increased by 2.9% compared to 2020, the committee said.
For information, benchmark oil prices climbed to their highest since 2014 on Tuesday as possible supply disruption after attacks in the Mideast Gulf added to an already tight supply outlook.
Brent crude futures rose by $0.74, or 0.9%, to $87.22 a barrel.
Supply concerns have risen this week after Yemen's Houthi group attacked the United Arab Emirates, escalating hostilities between the Iran-aligned group and a Saudi Arabian-led coalition.
