Health Ministry updates daily COVID-19 stats

On January 24, 1,123 people were diagnosed with coronavirus in Uzbekistan.

The Ministry of Health reported that the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 216,186 (+1,123).

Reportedly, 414 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 59 – in Karakalpakstan, 43 – in Andijan, 60 – in Bukhara, 31 – in Jizzakh, 25 – in Kashkadarya, 21 – in Navoi, 51 – in Namangan, 39 – in Samarkand, 20 – in Syrdarya, 37 – in Surkhandarya, 173 – in Fergana, 35 – in Khorezm and 115 – in Tashkent region.

3 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, bringing the official death toll to 1,545.

As of January 24, the number of recovered stands at 205,495 (+1,278).

Also, 98 people tested positive for pneumonia on Sunday.
