“Situation with the power outage under President’s personal control” – Sherzod Asadov

Sherzod Asadov, the spokesperson for the President of Uzbekistan, has commented on the major power outage in the country.

“The situation is under the personal control of the President. The head of state is informed almost every minute about the work being done to stabilize the energy system of Uzbekistan and restore the power supply,” he said.

According to Asadov, there is no need to panic.

“We urge everyone to stay calm and not to panic,” the official concluded.
