Statistics Committee provides data on average monthly salary in Uzbekistan for 2021
In 2021, the average monthly nominal accrued wages in Uzbekistan amounted to 3.2 million soums, follows from the report of the State Statistics Committee.

The highest average monthly salary by type of economic activity was recorded in banking, insurance, leasing and credit intermediary activities (8.2 million soums), which is significantly higher than in other areas of activity, in particular in the field of information and communications (5.5 million soums), transportation and storage (4.3 million soums), education (2.3 million soums). The lowest average salary was in the field of healthcare and the provision of social services (2.1 million soums).
The dynamics of the average monthly wage in 2017-2021 shows that its largest amount was recorded in 2021. Throughout 2021, the minimum wage was increased twice (on February 1 and September 1, 2021).
If you look at the growth of the average monthly nominal wage in the country in January-December 2021 compared to the corresponding period of 2020, then the highest growth rates were recorded in Surkhandarya region - 130.3%, Tashkent city (123.1%) and Kashkadarya region (122.1%). Relatively low growth rates were noted in Andijan - 115.0% and Navoi - 115.8% regions. On a monthly basis, the average monthly nominal wage increased throughout the year, reaching a maximum level in December - 3.7 million soums. At the same time, the lowest figure for the year was in January - 2.6 million soums.
