Uzbekistan considerably increases electric car imports

According to the State Statistics Committee, in 2021, Uzbekistan imported 809 electric cars from 11 countries for $16.9 million.
Electric car imports increased by 679 units or 6.2 times compared to 2020.
During the reporting period, Uzbekistan imported EVs mainly from the following countries:
- China - 724
- Turkey - 24
- USA - 22
- Lithuania - 13
- Germany - 12
- South Korea - 5
- Spain - 2
- Russia - 2
- Ukraine - 2
- UAE - 2
- Hong Kong - 1
