Uzbekistan's airports temporarily suspend receiving flights
Uzbekistan's airports are temporarily closed due to power outages.
According to reports, flights are being diverted to Navoi airport, the only airport in the country with electricity at the moment.
AviaSpotter says Uzbekistan Airways’ Urgench-Tashkent and Almaty-Tashkent flights have already been diverted to the airport in Navoi.
Earlier it was reported that a major power outage in Kazakhstan had caused an electricity shutdown in Uzbekistan. Metro and interregional electric trains have stopped in the country.
Water supply was also disrupted due to the failure of pumps.
Soon, interruptions in mobile communication may also begin.
