Tashkent metro resumes work
The Tashkent metro has fully resumed its work at 05:00 on January 26.
The work of the Tashkent metro was temporarily suspended on January 25 at 11:00 due to a major power outage in Uzbekistan.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations said that the citizens trapped inside the subway cars were evacuated.
According to the ministry, a total of 415 passengers were rescued during mobile operations.
Earlier it was reported that dozens of people trapped in 51 elevators of apartment buildings had been rescued following the power cut in Tashkent.
