Uzbekistan’s mobile phone imports more than double over a year

In 2021, Uzbekistan imported about 3 million mobile phones from 16 countries for $203.1 million, the State Statistics Committee reported.

Telephone imports increased by 1.7 million compared to 2020.

During the reporting period, the republic imported mobile phones mainly from the following countries:

• China - $102.4 million
• Vietnam - $80.7 million
• India - $11.9 million
• Kazakhstan - $5.3 million
• UAE - $1.9 million
• Germany - $647 thousand
• Russia - $176 thousand
