Shavkat Mirziyoyev to attend Winter Olympics opening ceremony in Beijing
At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, leaders of foreign states and governments, as well as leading international organizations will take part in the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing on February 4.
The Chinese President will attend the opening ceremony of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing from February 4 to 6 and will host a welcome banquet for foreign leaders, heads of government, members of royal families and heads of international organizations.
Among the guests are the heads of Russia, Singapore, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Poland, Argentina, the King of Cambodia, the Emir of Qatar, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and the leaders of several other states, President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach, Secretary General of the United Nations António Guterres, Director General of the World Health Organization Tedros Ghebreyesus.
The Olympic Games in Beijing will be held from February 4 to 20, the Paralympics – from March 4 to 13.
