Coronavirus: Uzbekistan’s total officially registered infection cases surpass 225 thousand
On February 1, 1,087 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan.
The Ministry of Health noted that the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 225,110 (+1,087).
Reportedly, 589 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 41 – in Karakalpakstan, 30 – in Andijan, 30 – in Bukhara, 27 – in Jizzakh, 33 – in Kashkadarya, 18 – in Navoi, 11 – in Namangan, 63 – in Samarkand, 9 – in Syrdarya, 39 – in Surkhandarya, 71 – in Fergana, 12 – in Khorezm and 114 – in Tashkent region.
3 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, bringing the official death toll to 1,571.
As of February 1, the number of recovered stands at 210,647 (+301).
Also, 209 people tested positive for pneumonia on Tuesday.
