Coronavirus: Daily cases drop below one thousand for first time in weeks
On February 2, 926 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan.
The Ministry of Health reported that the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 226,036 (+926).
According to the ministry, 431 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 47 – in Karakalpakstan, 28 – in Andijan, 25 – in Bukhara, 27 – in Jizzakh, 20 – in Kashkadarya, 19 – in Navoi, 28 – in Namangan, 51 – in Samarkand, 12 – in Syrdarya, 46 – in Surkhandarya, 67 – in Fergana, 23 – in Khorezm and 102 – in Tashkent region.
4 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, bringing the official death toll to 1,575.
As of February 2, the number of recovered stands at 210,926 (+279).
Also, 188 people tested positive for pneumonia on Wednesday.
