Health Ministry updates COVID-19 stats for Feb 3

On February 3, 961 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan.

The Ministry of Health reported that the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 226,997 (+961).

According to the ministry, 457 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 40 – in Karakalpakstan, 27 – in Andijan, 24 – in Bukhara, 20 – in Jizzakh, 24 – in Kashkadarya, 16 – in Navoi, 24 – in Namangan, 57 – in Samarkand, 10 – in Syrdarya, 48 – in Surkhandarya, 71 – in Fergana, 27 – in Khorezm and 116 – in Tashkent region.

4 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, bringing the official death toll to 1,579.

As of February 3, the number of recovered stands at 211,274 (+348).

Also, 195 people tested positive for pneumonia on Thursday.
