Minister of Energy holds talks with representatives of Volkswagen Group Rus

During the meeting at the Ministry of Energy, the guests were told about plans to develop the production of Euro-5 motor fuel in the country – in particular, the parties talked about the operation of the GTL plant and the reconstruction of the Bukhara oil refinery.

Volkswagen Group Rus is interested in the possibility of launching the production of electric cars in Uzbekistan.

The delegation was also acquainted with the projects for the development of renewable energy sources in the country. The sides also discussed promising joint projects.
