Ministry of Health updates COVID-19 and pneumonia stats for Feb 8

The Ministry of Health reported that the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 231,179 (+778).

According to the ministry, 375 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 27 – in Karakalpakstan, 19 – in Andijan, 17 – in Bukhara, 9 – in Jizzakh, 7 – in Kashkadarya, 8 – in Navoi, 13 – in Namangan, 37 – in Samarkand, 8 – in Syrdarya, 45 – in Surkhandarya, 23 – in Fergana, 15 – in Khorezm and 175 – in Tashkent region.

4 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, bringing the official death toll to 1,592.

As of February 8, the number of recovered stands at 213,736 (+613).

Also, 133 people tested positive for pneumonia on Tuesday.
