COVID-19: Daily cases rise slightly after eight days of dropping
On February 17, 272 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan.

The Ministry of Health reported that the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 234,872 (+272).
According to the ministry, 107 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 9 – in Karakalpakstan, 7 – in Andijan, 12 – in Bukhara, 7 – in Jizzakh, 3 – in Kashkadarya, 6 – in Navoi, 6 – in Namangan, 18 – in Samarkand, 4 – in Syrdarya, 15 – in Surkhandarya, 9 – in Fergana, 20 – in Khorezm and 49 – in Tashkent region.
2 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, bringing the official death toll to 1,614.
As of February 17, the number of recovered stands at 223,076 (+1,366).
Also, 49 people tested positive for pneumonia on Thursday.
