National School of France may train Uzbek specialists in energy field

In order to improve the system of training national personnel in the field of energy on the basis of modern practice, a meeting was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan with the director of the National School of Applied Sciences of the Loire (Institut National des Sciences Appliquées – INSA) Jan Shamayar and representatives of one of the leading French energy companies ENEDIS, Dunyo correspondent reports.

The meeting provided information on ongoing reforms in the field of training qualified personnel for various sectors of the economy. It was noted that since energy is one of the strategic directions in the rapid development of the state, it is important to train qualified personnel in this area.

Director of the National School of Applied Sciences Jan Shamayar enthusiastically noted the attention paid in Uzbekistan to the training of specialists in the field of energy, and expressed his readiness to cooperate with relevant organizations and educational institutions of the country in this field.

According to him, 1,660 students are currently studying at INSA. 17% of them are citizens of foreign states. The costs associated with the education and living of foreign youth are financed by scholarships provided by the French government and the EU Erasmus program.

The Institute also pays great attention to research work. There are 2 laboratories on its territory. Also, the university has established a line of international cooperation. At the same time, it was noted that there are strong ties with educational institutions in Brazil, Italy, Morocco, China and New Zealand. A branch of the institute was opened in Vietnam.

Representatives of the National School expressed their interest in cooperation with Uzbekistan in the training of qualified personnel in the field of energy. In this direction, cooperation is planned with the support of the energy company ENEDIS.
