Uzbekistan, France discuss strengthening inter-parliamentary ties
First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Oliy Majlis Sodiq Safoyev has held talks with the Ambassador of France Aurelia Bouchez.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries and exchanged views on the reforms carried out in Uzbekistan.
It was noted at the meeting that today cooperation within the framework of the high-level dialogue in bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and France has entered a qualitatively new stage. The parties stressed that inter-parliamentary cooperation makes a significant contribution to the further development of bilateral ties.
The sides also discussed the current state and prospects for cooperation in the field of education between Uzbekistan and France.
