Uzbekistan registers 138 COVID-19 cases on Feb 22
On February 22, 138 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan.
The Ministry of Health reported that the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 235,740 (+138).
According to the ministry, 56 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 6 – in Karakalpakstan, 2 – in Andijan, 7 – in Bukhara, 4 – in Jizzakh, 1 – in Kashkadarya, 3 – in Navoi, 18 – in Samarkand, 2 – in Syrdarya, 10 – in Surkhandarya, 5 – in Fergana, 3 – in Khorezm and 21 – in Tashkent region.
1 COVID-19 patient died yesterday, bringing the official death toll to 1,624.
As of February 22, the number of recovered stands at 230,286 (+1,267).
Also, 27 people tested positive for pneumonia on Tuesday.
