Health Ministry updates COVID-19 and pneumonia stats for Feb 23

The Ministry of Health reported that the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 235,880 (+140).

According to the ministry, 61 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 4 – in Andijan, 8 – in Bukhara, 2 – in Kashkadarya, 3 – in Navoi, 4 – in Namangan, 20 – in Samarkand, 3 – in Syrdarya, 9 – in Surkhandarya, 5 – in Fergana, 7 – in Khorezm and 14 – in Tashkent region.

2 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, bringing the official death toll to 1,626.

As of February 23, the number of recovered stands at 231,032 (+746).

Also, 24 people tested positive for pneumonia on Wednesday.
