Uzbekistan imported nearly $8 million worth of potatoes in January
In January 2022, Uzbekistan imported about 41 thousand tons of potatoes from 7 countries for $7.8 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, potato imports decreased by 953.2 tons compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, Uzbekistan imported potatoes mainly from the following countries:
- Pakistan - 21.1 thousand tons
- Kazakhstan - 8.5 thousand tons
- Iran - 4.1 thousand tons
- Kyrgyzstan - 3 thousand tons
- Afghanistan - 3 thousand tons
