COVID-19: Total officially registered cases surpass 236 thousand in Uzbekistan
On February 24, 156 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan.

The Ministry of Health reported that the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 236,036 (+156).
According to the ministry, 58 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 5 – in Karakalpakstan, 5 – in Andijan, 5 – in Bukhara, 2 – in Jizzakh, 4 – in Namangan, 23 – in Samarkand, 4 – in Syrdarya, 8 – in Surkhandarya, 7 – in Fergana, 2 – in Khorezm and 33 – in Tashkent region.
2 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, bringing the official death toll to 1,628.
As of February 24, the number of recovered stands at 231,546 (+514).
Also, 26 people tested positive for pneumonia on Thursday.
