FM Kamilov, OSCE Secretary General discuss prospects for cooperation
On February 25, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov had a telephone conversation with Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Helga Schmid.
According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, during the conversation, the prospects for expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and the OSCE through the development and implementation of specific projects were considered.
The parties also exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the accession of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (February 26, 1992).
Earlier, it was reported that the Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev met with the Chairman of the European Parliament Delegation for Relations with Afghanistan Petras Austrevičius.
