Saida Mirziyoyeva discusses regional security and digital reforms with OSCE Chief
The Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Feridun Sinirlioğlu, to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation across several strategic areas.
The discussions built upon the momentum of Sinirlioğlu’s recent official visit to Uzbekistan, during which he held high-level talks with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Mirziyoyeva noted that the previous dialogue laid a strong foundation for deepening engagement between Tashkent and the organization.

During the meeting, Secretary General Sinirlioğlu reaffirmed the OSCE's commitment to supporting Uzbekistan’s growing portfolio of international and regional initiatives.
The agenda covered a broad range of critical issues, including joint efforts to counter transnational security threats, the legal and ethical integration of digital technologies, and the effective deployment of artificial intelligence. The two sides also focused extensively on socio-political developments, reviewing progress in the country's judicial and legal reforms, youth empowerment programs, and ongoing initiatives aimed at ensuring gender equality.

Concluding the session, both parties exchanged views on practical mechanisms to scale up collaborative projects in these priority sectors, aiming to translate institutional dialogue into tangible development outcomes.
