Mild earthquake shakes Fergana region
An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 jolted Fergana region at 08:09 in the morning on March 1.
According to the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring under the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the epicenter of the earthquake was in Fergana region.
The depth of the quake was 15 km. Earthquake coordinates: 40.18 degrees north latitude; 71.71 degrees east longitude. The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent is 242 km in the southeast direction.
The strength of tremors in Fergana was 2 points (13 km).
