Health Ministry updates COVID-19 stats for March 16
On March 16, Uzbekistan registered 43 new coronavirus infection cases.

The Ministry of Health reported that the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 237,384 (+43).
According to the ministry, 26 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 2 – in Andijan, 2 – in Namangan, 2 – in Samarkand and 11 – in Tashkent region.
As of March 16, the number of recovered stands at 234,860 (+64).
Also, 3 people tested positive for pneumonia on Wednesday.
