Uzbekistan increases meat imports
In 2021, Uzbekistan imported 31.7 thousand tons of beef from 8 countries.

According to the State Statistics Committee, beef imports increased by 10.1 thousand tons compared to 2020.
Last year, Uzbekistan imported beef mainly from the following countries:
- Belarus - 21.5 thousand tons
- Kazakhstan - 4.9 thousand tons
- Ukraine - 2.9 thousand tons
- India - 916 tons
- Moldova - 738 tons
- Russia - 638 tons
During the reporting year, the country produced 2,640.4 thousand tons of meat (live weight).
