Uzbekistan imports 252 thousand tons of cement over two months

In January-February 2022, Uzbekistan imported 252.1 thousand tons of cement for $9.7 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, cement imports decreased by 278 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.

During the reporting period, the republic imported cement mainly from the following countries:

• Tajikistan - 125 thousand tons
• Kyrgyzstan - 68.3 thousand tons
• Kazakhstan - 57.5 thousand tons
• Iran - 930 tons
• Russia - 138 tons
• Turkmenistan - 135.8 tons
