Delegation of Uzbekistan takes part in consultations at the level of SCO deputy FMs on subject of regional security
Yesterday, consultations were held in the Russian capital at the level of deputy foreign ministers of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on the subject of regional security, a Kun.uz correspondent reports.

At this event, Uzbekistan was represented by a delegation led by Deputy FM Vladimir Norov.
During the consultations, issues of ensuring security in the SCO space were discussed, as well as an exchange of views on topical regional and international problems.
Particular attention was paid to coordinating the efforts of the SCO member states in the Afghan direction.
Along with this, within the framework of the event, the delegations were informed about the implementation of the priorities of the chairmanship of Uzbekistan in the SCO, the main events being held and the development of draft documents planned for signing in September at the organization’s Samarkand summit.
