Amount of pensions and benefits to increase from May 1
The President signed a corresponding decree on increasing pensions and benefits.

On Friday, under the chairmanship of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a videoconference meeting was held on measures to further strengthen support for socially vulnerable segments of the population, the presidential press service reports.
During the meeting, the head of state announced an increase in pensions and benefits by 12% from May 1 this year.
The minimum pension that 725,000 people receive will be increased by 14% from 440,000 soums to 500,000 soums.
