Tashkent hosts Uzbek-Mongolian business forum
Today, the Uzbek-Mongolian business forum was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).
The forum was attended by First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Islam Jasimov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Batsumber Munkhzhin, President of the National Chamber of Commerce of Mongolia Otgondavaa Amartuvshin, as well as representatives of business circles of the two countries.
During the event, the prospects for bilateral trade-economic, investment cooperation, as well as strengthening cooperation between the two countries in creating additional opportunities for entrepreneurs were discussed.
Deputy FM of Mongolia Batsumber Munkhzhin noted that over the past period, Uzbek-Mongolian relations have consistently expanded and strengthened. There has been an intensification of interaction in the political, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan noted that bilateral relations are based on the principles of traditional friendship, equality and mutual benefit.
President of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Mongolia Otgondavaa Amartuvshin stressed that over the past years, warm friendly relations have been established between the two countries, which meet the interests of the business circles of both countries, and good prospects for developing cooperation in many areas of the economy are opening up.
Otgondavaa Amartuvshin expressed confidence that further intensification of a consistent dialogue between business representatives will serve to raise the relationship between our countries to a new level.
During the forum, the parties listed priority areas for establishing business partnerships between entrepreneurs of the two countries.
Also, the forum participants were presented with promising project proposals developed in a targeted manner for further study with interested Mongolian business representatives.
At the end of the event, the heads of delegations of the two countries called on the business community to actively interact and establish a constructive dialogue to develop new “growth points” for bilateral economic partnership.
It should be recalled that there are 4 enterprises in Uzbekistan with the participation of Mongolian capital, including 3 with 100% foreign capital. The scope of their activities: sericulture, animal husbandry, trade, services.
