International Islamic Forum kicks off in Uzbekistan
The inaugural International Forum on Islamic Civilization, held under the theme "Islamic Civilization: The Path of Peace, Tolerance and Enlightenment," has opened at the Center for Islamic Civilization in Tashkent.
The forum will run from July 7 to 11 and will be hosted across Tashkent, Samarkand, and Termez.
The event is jointly organized by the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, the Committee on Religious Affairs of Uzbekistan, the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, the Imam Maturidi International Scientific Research Center, the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center, the Imam Termizi International Scientific Research Center, the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO).

The forum has brought together nearly 300 high-level participants from more than 50 countries, including government officials, public figures, ministers, muftis, heads of international organizations, and prominent Islamic scholars.
The gathering is expected to serve as a platform for discussions on the historical legacy of Islamic civilization, as well as its contribution to promoting peace, religious tolerance, education, and scientific advancement.
