Senators to consider election of Supreme Court’s Chief Justice
The twenty-seventh plenary session of the Senate will be held on June 13, 2022.
According to the Senate press service, a number of issues will be considered at this upcoming plenary session.
In particular, in connection with the adoption of the Laws “On the management of state property”, “On limiting the circulation and consumption of alcohol and tobacco products”, “On transplantation of human organs and tissues”, some legislative acts will be amended. The Law “On the introduction of amendments and additions to certain legislative acts, as well as on the recognition of certain legislative acts as invalid” will also be considered.
Moreover, the Senators will consider the issue of electing the chairman of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan.
The next plenary session of the Senate, which will begin its work on June 13 at 11:00, will be held in the format of videoconferencing.
