The Embassy of our country in South Korea organized negotiations in the format of a videoconference between the First Deputy Chairman of the Korean-Uzbek Business Association (KUBA) Kim Chang Keon and responsible representatives of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan.
During the talks, the program of the visit of representatives of South Korean business circles to Uzbekistan in early July was discussed.
This visit was initiated and organized by KUBA as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea.
During the meeting, Kim Chang Keon reported on the ongoing work on organizing and developing a program for the visit, in particular trips to the Tashkent and Syrdarya regions.
The program of the organized visit provides for a wide awareness of the leading companies and organizations of South Korea, aimed at establishing long-term cooperation with Uzbekistan in the field of trade and investment.
During the events in the cities of Tashkent, Nurafshan and Gulistan, presentations of the investment potential and opportunities of the consumer market of our country, as well as B2G, B2B meetings and negotiations are planned. South Korean entrepreneurs are also interested in studying the activities of free economic and industrial zones and promising projects in these regions.
The South Korean side informed that a large package of trade and investment agreements, as well as memorandums on the implementation of advanced joint projects for signing during the upcoming visit, are currently being prepared.
The parties expressed their readiness to continue joint work for the effective organization of the planned events within the framework of this business tour.
