Uzbekistan Railways officially announces resumption of train traffic with Russia
The movement of passenger trains with Russia is being restored, Uzbekistan Railways reported.
It is noted that from June 23, 2022, passenger train No. 5/6 “Tashkent – Samara – Tashkent” will be launched.
The train No. 5/6 “Tashkent – Samara – Tashkent” will depart from the Tashkent-Central railway station on Thursday at 19:05 and arrive at the Samara railway station in Russia on Saturday at 18:14.
The train will depart from Samara on Sunday at 16:11 and arrive at Tashkent-Central Station on Tuesday at 16:56.
For reference, the distance from Tashkent to Samara by rail is 2,271 kilometers. The train will be on the road for 48 hours. Passenger train No. 5/6 “Tashkent – Samara – Tashkent” consists of 11 cars: 3 compartments, 7 reserved seats and a dining car.
